A pro-worker’s answer to fighting bloating is to take small steps: Turns out she not only works out several times a day in small increments, but keeps her portions small, relying on protein and vegetables while eating carbs.

“I’ve been doing this for 40 years and I’m not crazy about fitness,” she immediately explained during the interview. “But I’m steady.”

This means exercising in some form every day.

“If you could do 10 minutes of exercise at a time and do it three times a day, you’d be doing 30 minutes of exercise in a day,” the star noted in her charming, easy-to-connect style.

She added that it’s important to keep moving throughout the day: “It’s all about circulation and movement. I even stand and walk in place when I’m watching TV just to keep it flowing.”

Sounds like smart math, and an easy way to practice.

“Consistency pays off,” added the cute pinup who is very energetic on Instagram.

One way she likes to exercise is by walking: “It’s a healthy way to feel better, improve mood and sleep. Exercise is the best pre-meditate medicine.”

And exercise is more than just looking good: “I like to exercise to feel good. I feel energized after walking, as endorphins move and flow, and help release stress, anxiety, and pent-up feelings.”

Another tip is that she keeps an eye on her posture: “Not a lot of people think about posture these days, but if you stand up straight, you tighten your abs and you’re really exercising without exercise, so I would say this is one of my best. Tips, as it requires minimal effort but delivers maximum results if you do it often.

In terms of food, she keeps an eye on what she eats but keeps it tasty. And its parts are perfectly suited for shedding pounds.

Denise noted: ‘I eat smaller portions.’ For dinner I may eat salmon and vegetables. Snack is flaxseed with yogurt. I love avocado and eggs for breakfast.

I cook really healthy food for my family. There are plenty of salads, chicken tacos, vegetable lasagna, and dishes with less cheese.

But she’s not always wary: “I eat good 80 percent of the time and the other 20 percent I feel bad.”
